debian8-登録時のcaptchaがうまく表示できない（PHP　gdのインストール）

原因としてgdがインストールされていない。

＃検索

apt-cache search php5

＃gdに該当するものがあったので、インストール
apt-get install php5-gd

念の為、再起動。
/etc/init.d/apache2 stop
/etc/init.d/apache2 start
